How we count our track record

Every performance figure on this site comes from Samimi CRE Advisors' own closed-transaction records. This page defines exactly what each number counts, names the sources behind it, and explains why third-party platforms show smaller totals.

    What each figure counts

    Transactions closed (334+)
Every closed multifamily sale Cameron Samimi has personally represented across his full career, counting both listing-side and buyer-side representation. A single sale where he represented both parties is counted once.
    Total sales volume ($446M+)
The aggregate gross sale price of those closed transactions, career-to-date. Volume is attributed in full to the transaction, not split by commission share.
    Units sold (3,000+)
The total residential unit count across those closed multifamily assets. Development sites and land are excluded from the unit count but included in transaction count and volume.
    Career-to-date
Figures span Cameron's entire brokerage career, including transactions closed prior to joining Lyon Stahl Investment Real Estate.

Why third-party platforms show lower totals

Industry platforms such as Traded.co, CoStar, Crexi, and LoopNet each display a partial view of a broker's career. Their totals are lower than the figures on this site for three structural reasons:

    • Limited lookback. Most platforms only cover the period since the broker's profile was created — roughly the last six years — and do not include earlier career transactions.
    • Publicly reported sales only. Off-market transactions and sales that were never submitted to a listing platform do not appear.
    • Single-side attribution. Some platforms record only the listing side, omitting deals where Cameron represented the buyer.

Where a third-party profile and this site disagree, the internal closed-transaction record is the complete one. Platform profiles are accurate for what they cover; they simply cover less.

    Years2021–2026, six consecutive years

The ranking measures transaction count in LA County multifamily. It is not a claim of highest dollar volume, and it is not a statewide or national ranking.

    Sources

    Internal closed-transaction records
The primary source. Maintained deal-by-deal from escrow closings and reconciled against settlement statements.
    CoStar
Source for the #1 LA County multifamily agent rankings. CoStar's ranking is based on publicly recorded and reported transaction counts within its coverage area.
    Public county records
Used to verify sale prices and close dates where a transaction was publicly recorded.

    Aggregate market data

Median cap rates, price per unit, and days on market shown on our market data pages are derived from the same closed-transaction set, reported only in aggregate. No client names, and no individual deal terms are disclosed beyond what is already public record. Sample sizes are small by design — these are one broker's closings, not a county-wide index — so treat them as directional and verify for a specific property.
